DIGITAL
The Digital
Revolution has been exactly that. It has revolutionised the way we
can work with images, text and documents.
Documents can now
be totally personalised, with a master document referring to a client database
controlling some or all of the elements in the document.
For example,
Freedom Holidays can have a great last minute deal on flights to Geneva
which could apply to skiers or wind-surfers.
So, the
database tells the computer to insert skiing pictures and information
in some documents and windsurfing pictures and information in
the others.
So each customer
receives a mailing that is specific to his or her interests or history and
the effectiveness of your mailing campaign is increased significantly.

The development
of Large Format printing has come on leaps and bounds in the last five
years. Basically it is very high quality inkjet printing on a roll of
specially formulated paper or plastic which can then be finished with a
variety of laminates and encapsulates.
The image can be
up to 1200 mm wide and as long as you like, so exhibition stands, like the
illustration above, are an ideal application and one of our BIG
sellers!
However, Posters
and Giant Point of Sale images are also brilliantly suited to this
technique. As with any of our other print processes, artwork will be
sent to the printing machine in digital format.
